Cons----I truly feel like Ansonia is over policed. It gives them too much time to pull people over for some of the most minute things. Pros---- However, when I do get stopped the officers are always very respectful and understanding. That is why I gave them 4 stars. Surrounding towns could learn a lot from the Ansonia PD. Respect goes both ways.
The officers that I've come into contact with in Ansonia have been professional, respectful, and they genuinely care about the community. Thank you for serving, and protecting. You're greatly appreciated.
