** This is one of the best post office here in Connecticut. Workers are accommodating and always approachable & friendly so my 5 star's rating is not even enough but, I have to say thank you to their employee named, GERRY (as an AWESOME Mail-Man!!!)
Awful! Today we got a knock on the door and my dog started barking. My 5 year old started opening the door and the postman ( thin older white man with gray hair and beard) starting SCREAMING at my 5 year old "DO NOT OOEN THAT DOOR! DO YOU HEAR ME? DO NOT OPEN THAT DOOR!" Which, of course, made him greatly upset and started to cry.

Absolutely terrible if I could rate 1 star I would. I own a home with big picture window and if my dog doesn't know u he's gonna bark. One employee in particular refuses to deliver because my dogs "gonna jump through a glass window" so I call this office to complain and the answer I get is “dont bother us" and they hung up. Well good thing 97% of my important stuff is done online. It's attitudes like this that make the position look bad.
How dare a stranger start yelling at a young child? I am disgusted and will report incident this everywhere I can until I find a new driver on my route.
It's Ansonia's Post Office. They have stamps, envelopes and you can get your passport photo there. They staff there always professional, friendly and helpful.
Whatever the weather is... he's always on the go!!! I'm surprised that I can still receive my package despite of the big storm today in our area, Wow! I am hoping that the PostMaster of Ansonia-Post Office & Management will read and honor my comment and hopefully, will also give him "Mr.Gerry" any credits or award by showing his tremendous job to the public. Thanks and more power!
